Bulletin Cover Art Gallery: Advent/Christmas
Last Advent and Christmas, we decided to do something different with our bulletin covers. Rather than continue to run tried-(tired?)-and-true stock art covers, we opted for something more interactive — something that would spring our local artists into action. We invited OLW School and REP 3rd-5th graders to contribute artwork for the season and, to our delight, we quickly received many wonderful drawings! The first graced our bulletin cover on the First Sunday of Advent (November 28, 2021), and the last ran on the Epiphany (January 2, 2022).
Because we received more submissions than we had available covers , we are including, below, a compilation of ALL bulletin cover submissions, as we feel all student artists’ work should be showcased. Thank you to all OLW School and REP 3rd-5th Grade student artists for your contributions, and to all our staff, volunteers and parents who supported this effort!
At the conclusion of the Advent/Christmas Season, we handed the paint brushes over to our OLW Youth Group for bulletin cover contributions. To see a gallery of their bulletin cover contributions, click here.
