A Wonderfully Prayerful Evening at OLW
On Tuesday evening, January 11, Our Lady of the Wayside warmly welcomed Rev. Francis “Rocky” Hoffman, and several Relevant Radio colleagues, for a live broadcast and video livestream of “Family Rosary Across America.” The radio broadcast was transmitted to Relevant Radio’s network of 198 stations across the country (to an estimated 100,000 devoted FRAA listeners) and the video livestream on OLW and Relevant Radio channels extended the evening’s prayers by 30%.
Despite ongoing COVID challenges, in-person turnout, which included OLW parishioners and visitors from neighboring parishes, was quite good. United in faith, Father Rocky lead all through the Sorrowful Mysteries and, afterward, gave a beautiful reflection on The Beatitudes.
Thank you to Our Lady of the Wayside’s Christian Family Movement (CFM) Ministry for organizing this prayerful event, to Father Rocky and the Relevant Radio staff for producing the broadcast live from our church, to the Holy Spirit, and to our patroness, Our Lady of the Wayside, for making this joyous, prayerful evening such a success.
