Here’s something from the OLW archives, a Daily Herald article featuring our church, circa 1967. Note the small crucifix above the altar. The larger one that hangs above our altar today was added later.
Can anyone definitely identify the young woman facing the camera? Someone suggested it might be OLW’s beloved, recently departed, Joan Drolet, who was an Our Lady of the Wayside parishioner from the day our church opened its doors. Can anyone confirm?
