Centennial Holy Hours for Vocations

Posted on October 1, 2021 by Published by

Parishes across Chicago and neighboring dioceses are celebrating our centennial by hosting a holy hour for vocations. You are invited to join us at these parishes to pray in adoration with the historic monstrance that was used at the 1926 Eucharistic Congress held on the seminary grounds, when 800,000 people traveled to Mundelein to pray.

Join us in prayerful thanksgiving for the thousands of parish priests who have devoted their lives to the Church as well as in praying that more men will answer the promptings of the Holy Spirit to discern their call.

The first holy hour will be held at Saint Emily Parish in Mount Prospect at 2:30 p.m. on October 1. The second holy hour will be at Saint Elizabeth and the Trinity Parish in Chicago at 6 p.m on October 21. A third holy hour will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Lake Villa at 7 p.m. on October 27.

Visit our centennial website to see a map and list of all holy hour locations and dates.
