A shout-out of CONGRATULATIONS to Our Lady of the Wayside’s Principal, David Wood, for this well-deserved nomination.
Leading the in-person (and online) learning charge during these very trying pandemic times took imagination, determination, courage, leadership from the front, and a boost from our Holy Mother and the Holy Spirit, no doubt!

His focus on academics and safety has allowed OLW to continue to excel during this school year. David is a lifelong learner working on his doctorate and leading by example. His integrity, strong moral compass and strong work ethic make him so worthy of this nomination!

In the last 8 months, he has lead the way through a hugely successful e-learning program, back to in-person learning, and providing a safe space for our kids to learn and grow. David has been the driving force behind a huge number of school improvements including air conditioning, new outdoor play space, and a lunch space to make the school better in every way,” a staff member.”
