Video Flashback: We’ve Come a LONG Way!
As we sometimes tend to get caught up in the moment — especially in these pandemic times we still find ourselves in — it is good look back, to reflect on how far we’ve come, and to count our many blessings.
As case-in-point, here is the second Mass ever livestreamed from our church — shortly after COVID-19 closed our doors. This was Palm Sunday Vigil 2020. The church was empty and the technology was better than nothing (we were thrilled to be able to livestream any way we could), but…
And this was Palm Sunday Vigil mass just one year later. Our church doors were open, our church had as many congregants as allowed, and we streamed with incredibly enhanced video and audio technology….
What a difference a year makes! We have several blessings to count.
And we’d certainly be remiss if we didn’t (again) thank our very generous donors who were responsible for initiating the Opening Our Doors to the Future matching funds campaign, and to ALL who generously pledged, making the campaign a huge success.
Thank you Holy Spirit and our Holy Mother for the blessings of inspiration, leadership, vision, time, talent and treasure of all those who make our parish the strong parish it is today.
And there is more to come!
