HAPPY BIRTHDAY Kathy O’Neill

Please join Father Arthur and the parish staff in wishing Kathy O’Neill a Happy Birthday.

Kathy wears many hats and works tirelessly for Our Lady of the Wayside.  Officially, she’s our Coordinator of Pastoral Healthcare (formerly our Parish Nurse).  In this role, she promotes and safeguards the physical, emotional and spiritual health of our parishioners.  She works especially closely with, and is a supportive voice of, OLW seniors.  She leads the charge on our annual Emmy Holum Blood Drive and Flu Shot programs. She heads our Mental Health and Domestic Abuse Ministries, as well as our Ministries of Care and Praise.  She actively leads the very dedicated Cleaning and Disinfection crew of our Church Reopening Team.  Kathy participates on and/or has participated on countless ministries and committees since she joined our Parish staff in 2014.

Don’t let her soft spokenness fool you, Kathy is an Our Lady of the Wayside #DifferenceMaker.  She truly exemplifies St. Teresa of Calcutta’s quote, “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
