Religious Education Program Events
Tuesday, March 9 Classes:
Grades 1-4, 4:00 Virtual Class. Reminder that Second Grade First Communion Banners are due for the school second graders. The REP students should drop off their banners in the REP Elementary School Office. The building is open, M-F from 9:00-3:00. Please ring the doorbell on Mitchell Street and let the secretary know you are dropping off a Communion Banner.
Grades 5-6, 7:00 Virtual Class
Wednesday, March 10, the OLW seventh and eighth graders will attend the 8:30 Mass.
We encourage all families to consider attending weekly Stations of the Cross during Lent – March 5, 12, 19, and 26 at 7:00 pm. Preregistration is required. Register here. If your family cannot attend, Stations are recorded.
Registrations for next year’s REP program will be mailed the last week of March and will be due before April 30, 2021. Registrations will only be mailed to families without an outstanding balance for this year. Please contact Louise Dickey, (847) 398-5011, or email repsecretary@olwparish.org to verify family account status if you are in doubt.

SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION
- Thursday, March 11 at 7:00 PM
- Saturday, March 13 – Masses at 9:00 and 1:30
Masses will be livestreamed on the Our Lady of the Wayside Facebook and YouTube pages so family and friends may view the ceremony. Preregistration is required due to State of Illinois and Archdiocese COVID guidelines. Click HERE to register.
