Religious Education Program Events

Tuesday, March 2

The following REP grades have class:

• Grades 1-4 will have virtual classes beginning at 4:00 PM
• Grade 7 will have virtual classes beginning at 7:00 PM.
• 8th Grade will have class in-person in the gym from 7:00 – 8:15 PM.The 8th graders will have their Confirmation Test this evening. Students will receive their Confirmation gowns before class dismisses. All documents — Bishop’s letter, service hours and Saint Report — must be completed and handed in by this date in order to be in compliance of all requirements. Failure to do so will result in ineligibility for the Sacrament of Confirmation. If you are in doubt or have questions, please contact the REP Office.

Looking Ahead:

SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION

• Thursday, March 11 at 7:00 PM
• Saturday, March 13 – Masses at 9:00 and 1:30

Masses will be livestreamed on the Our Lady of the Wayside Facebook and YouTube pages so family and friends may view the ceremony. Preregistration is required due to State of Illinois and Archdiocese COVID guidelines.  Click HERE to register.
