Please Join Our Lady of the Wayside staff in welcoming Carol Stuber as the new co-director of OLW’s RCIA program. For those who have not had the opportunity to meet/know Carol, I asked her to provide a brief introduction. Carol responded as follows:
About 15 years ago, after exploring a handful of Catholic churches in the area, my husband Jim and I decided Our Lady of the Wayside church would be our new spiritual home. I am so happy with the decision we made because it was at Our Lady of the Wayside church where my faith blossomed. Our three children, Sophia, Ben and Anna attend Our Lady of the Wayside and Saint Viator schools.
Because our parish is so rich with opportunity, I was able to deepen my faith and relationship with God by taking part in various ministries such as Vacation Bible School, Children’s Liturgy of the Word, Women’s Welcome Weekend retreat, Parish Photo Directory organizer and most recently a volunteer on the Reopening Team, Vice Chair Couple for the Christian Family Movement and a member at large on the Parish Pastoral Council Board.
I look forward to partnering with our talented, Deacon Paul Onischuk, as we embark on this new journey together in shepherding new candidates into our Catholic faith community. |
We are thankful of Carol’s willingness to heed the Holy Spirit’s call to serve OLW in this very important ministry. Please take a moment to reach out in support of Carol and include her in your prayers. In the meantime, God’s peace, mercy, and love to you and yours.
~Deacon Paul
