Attention OLW Battle of the Bulge Veterans
This is the 75th anniversary of the WWII Battle of the Bulge – December 16, 1944 to January 25, 1945.
To commemorate this battle, Staff Sergeant David Lietz of the 416th Theater Engineer Command Public Affairs Office , would like to interview a WWII veteran who participated in this historic conflict. The veteran would have served in any of the US Military Services participating in this battle. The goal is simply tell the story of what they did in the Battle. What did they personally experience? How did they manage to fight in the cold weather etc.?
SSG Lietz’s interview will appear in the US Army Reserve media.
If you know of a Battle of the Bugle veteran who would be willing to participate in this important interview, please replay with an email to both of us that includes:
- Veteran’s name and full contact info
- Veteran’s WWII service info – including simple details during the Battle of the Bugle
