“Opening Our Doors” Campaign Update: (51%)

The Opening Our Doors to the Future Matching Campaign to modernize critical technology in our Church and across our Parish campus is moving along.  As of November 25, we have collected $25,250 in donations which, with the matching funds of a very generous donor, brings us to $50,500, or 51% of goal.  THANK YOU to all who have donated!

Phase One of this campaign which includes installation of a robotic video streaming system in our church; upgrading to fiberoptic Internet across our campus; and purchase of a handheld video camera is well underway.  As a system test, we livestreamed Adoration today (minus audio) and all went well.  So well, in fact, that we intend to livestream Thanksgiving Mass at 9:00 am (with audio) as our first complete system test.  Our goal of livestreaming Christmas Eve and Christmas Day mass is within reach.

Additional Phases of technology upgrades are also planned for our church and parish.  More on that later.

All of this would not be possible without the insight (and very generous commitment of $50,000) from an OLW parishioner on a dollar-for-dollar matching basis (providing $100,000 of potential revenue for this fundraiser).  Our future depends on your generosity.
