Sisters of the Living Word “All That Jazz” Virtual Fundraiser

Posted on September 23, 2020 by Published by

The Sisters of the Living Word is an Arlington Heights, Illinois–headquartered Catholic religious community of women dedicated to sharing the Word of God through education, social, and spiritual services.

Due to COVID-19, Sisters of the Living Word’s annual fundraiser: “Take a Chance” has gone virtual.  Win cash prizes of $500, $1,000 and $2,000!

“We’ll have cash raffles, a silent auction, videos and more. There are many wonderful silent auction packages,” said Kristine Vorenkamp, SLW, of Congregational Leadership. Proceeds from the event benefit the Living Word efforts toward justice in the areas of Immigration, Racism and Care of Creation.

This year’s Partners in Mission Award, which is presented to one providing foundational support of our ministries, is going to Sr. Joan McGlinchey, MSC, Vicar for Religious, Archdiocese of Chicago.  The Volunteer of the Year Award, given to someone who exhibits loyal volunteerism and dedication to the Sisters of the Living Word, will be presented to Judy Maciorowski (Arlington Heights).

Tickets for the virtual Jazz fundraiser FREE and are available online at: https://aesbid.com/ELP/SLW20/ or text “SLW” to 61094.
