Fr. Augustine Receives #HeroPriests of the Pandemic Award
Despite the enormous challenges posed by COVID-19 the Church remained an essential source of hope, inspiration and support for Catholics across the country. Heroic priests answered the pandemic’s chaos with extraordinary creativity and resolve to continue serving as a bridge between Christ and his people.
Mundelein Seminary recently honored #HeroPriests with its 2020 In Service of One Another Catholic Humanitarian Award, which included Father Mark Augustine who was serving as Administrator of St. Mary’s in Lake Forest at the time.
