Light Turnout But A Great Sound At First OLW “Cookies and Carols” Night

Participation was light but the sound was great at the first-ever Our Lady of the Wayside “Cookies and Carols” event on December 18 in the Church.
Directed by by OLW Music Minister Dan McMahon, about 15 parishioners gathered in the church to sing Christmas Carols (accompanied by McMahon’s talent on the piano and some young trumpeters).
The music and singing were great and the post-music home-made cookies were outstanding. Hopefully, the event will be repeated next year and become a regular feature on the OLW Christmas season calendar.
