30TH ANNUAL GALA UPDATES: A Note from the Co-Chairs

Thank you for all who came out to our 30th Annual Gala on February 23. It was a very memorable night for the Our Lady of the Wayside Community!! After paying expenses and reconciling accounts, we are ready to share our great news!!

Together, as a community, we raised over $235,000 (after expenses) for our school, with over $123,000 of that going to our Fund-a-Need project for Security and Campus Upgrades!!!!

Meetings for our Security and Campus Upgrades are underway. The staff, along with Leo Morand, a school parent donating his time, talent, and treasure, have been meeting with the village, working on permits for our grass field.  Jim Liput, our business manager, has also been meeting on the security project working on reaching our goal of getting our cameras and security project underway starting June 24, once the building is empty from VBS.  Look for future updates on this project on social media.

Thanks again to everyone who donated and purchased items, our amazing volunteers, and to all who attended this wonderful fund-raiser for our school! We are truly amazed by everyone’s generosity!
