WHEELS TO WORSHIP
Matthew 25:40 “Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for the least of mine, you did for me.”
We do not ATTEND Mass. We do not GO TO Mass. We CELEBRATE Mass. In addition, like other celebrations in life, birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, or when your favorite sports team wins the championship title, we want our entire family with us to enrich the experience. Some of our family at Our Lady of the Wayside cannot be with us for this weekly celebration simply because they no longer drive.
We are starting a new ministry to meet this need. Our new ministry, Wheels to Worship, will have volunteer drivers to bring our OLW sisters and brothers to church to celebrate Mass with us.
Wheels to Worship has been approved by The Archdiocese of Chicago and has been operating successfully at St. James for the past three years. Some volunteers drive every week, and some drive once a month. Drivers all agree it is more than a ride, it means so much to the passengers, and as a driver, it will mean so much to you.
