Hi CFM Family,

We hope you all had a great meeting last Friday! Please see below for a few announcements.

Lasagna Dinner
As a reminder, Lasagna Dinner is coming up on Friday, September 23 at 7 PM. Please let your leaders know if you plan to attend so we have a full count of attendees.

• Each group brings lasagna, salad, and bread for their table, and a dessert for the dessert table.
• Every table will be provided with a bottle of red and white wine. Feel free to supplement with your own wine.
• Water and soda will be provided.

Reminder to please give your checks and membership forms to your group leaders ($70 for couples, $40 for individuals). You may also pay via Zelle (847)-508-2310. Please note, if you are paying via Zelle please be sure to include your last name so that we can easily track payments.

St. Vincent Walk for the Poor
OLW’s St. Vincent de Paul Society (SVDP) provides emergency assistance, counseling, support, and referral services to parishioners and those living within the parish boundaries in the event of displacement, illness, unemployment or other emergencies.

OLW SVDP is sponsoring a 5K Fun Run/Walk for the Poor fundraiser to support the ministry. There will be a 5K run, 1 mile walk, and kids dash on a safe and secure course. The Fun Run/Walk is scheduled to start at for 8:00 am on Saturday, September 24. The kids dash begins at 7:45 a.m. On-line registration is open for individuals and families with a discount for early registration at https://bit.ly/2021WalkForPoor. Day-of-race registration will be accepted up to 30 minutes prior to start.

The Fun Run/Walk will start and finish in the OLW Parish parking lot. This is not a timed event, but there will be awards for order of finish. Direct donations will be accepted at Give Central for those unable to run or walk. T-shirts will be provided to the first 150 registered.

Ladies Night Out
Join in the Ladies Night Out BINGO, Bags and Bubbles on Saturday October 1 in the gym. Tickets are now available! This is a fun way to support the Family and School Assocation programs to that support OLW School students and teachers and the OLW Annual Fund. Plus, you’ll have the chance to win some great prizes. Grab friends and make it a night – no need to put together tables. If you are interested in attending, tickets can be purchased at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/bingo-bags-and-bubbles-ladies-night-out-tickets-414974057577k.

The $30 entry ticket includes a glass of champagne upon arrival plus 2 BINGO cards to play 10 games. The first winner of each BINGO game gets to take home a designer handbag that is valued between $150-$200. A Punch Card for drinks – red or white wine, champagne, soda, and water bottles – can be purchased for $20. Using the above link is preferred, but you can also use Venmo.
