Our second meeting is scheduled this Friday, October 8 at 8 PM. Please take some time to familiarize yourselves with chapter 2: Where is God in Troubled Times?, including the Observe, Judge and Act sections.
The chapter can also be found on the National CFM website (cfm.org).
If you have not already done so, please bring a check made out to Arlington Area CFM to your meeting for the annual membership fee of $70/couple or $40/single. We also accept venmo/zelle (email@example.com).
The Leader’s Meeting will start promptly at 7 p.m. via ZOOM (link to be sent separately) to get the Leader Couples to the host homes by 8 p.m. to start group meetings by 8:15. We want to be sensitive to those families that have sitters at home with curfews.
Lasagna Dinner/St. Mark’s Food Collection
Warm gratitude to the Sherry Group for planning and executing on the delicious lasagna dinner. While we missed those that could not attend, fun was had by all. A shout out to Deacon Pete and Jan for planning the paraliturgy and to Father Dominic for sharing his gift of acoustic guitar music. Thank you!
Finally, we were able to collect 8 bins of food for our sharing parish, St. Marks! Thank you, Loys and Mortellaros for collection.
Mark your calendars for our next event, the Thanksgiving Agape, November 25th following the 9 AM Thanksgiving mass. All are welcome to enjoy this time of family fellowship and hospitality. Details to come.
Coffee & Donut Hosting
Coffee & Donut Hospitality is up and running again. In a separate email, we will share dates and details on how each of the groups can assist. Stay tuned…
The Mortellaro group is scheduled to deliver food to Saint Marks, October 16. Please secure details from your group leader.
