Our next CFM meeting is Friday, November 4. We will be covering Chapter 3 – “The CFM Family: A Family of Families in a Parish”. We are trying a new approach this month for tracking attending utilizing the below sign-up genius. This will hopefully be easy for all and will allow our leaders to determine when we may need to combine groups to keep conversations dynamic. You should also hear from your leaders regarding the meeting soon.
Feed My Starving Children: For those of you signed up, reminder that Feed my Starving Children is November 12th . You should have received further instructions and information upon your sign-up. If you have questions or concerns just let us know. The sign-up is full at this time which is great!
Thanksgiving Agape: The annual Thanksgiving Agape hosted by CFM will take place in the morning after Thanksgiving mass. Please see the attached flyer for further information. You can sign up to bring something or assist with the service with your group leader this Friday. If you cannot make the meeting on Friday, please reach out directly to the Sherrys. Thank you to the Sherry group for putting this event together.
Open Leadership Role: As a reminder, we are still looking for an assistant chair for this year. Please continue to pray on your ability to serve in this role and as chair in the coming year. Reach out with any questions you may have on what the role entails.
Upcoming School and Parish Event: Trivia night is coming up on November 12th. The recent lady’s night was tons of fun and I know some of our CFM members came and can attest to that. If you would like to come to trivia night you can sign up with a table of 10 or you can be placed in a table with other parishioners and/or school parents. There will be raffles with great prizes that you can enter to win as well. Maybe you can even put together a CFM table?! Trivia Night is back at OLW! Saturday, November 12 in the gym. You can create your own table of 10 or we can put one together for you. $30/person. The theme this year is 80’s trivia – so brush up on your music, TV, current events, etc.
This is a ‘BYO Everything’ event – food, drink, table décor etc. Points will be awarded for Best Costume, Table Décor and more. Bring Cash for Heads and Tails. The Champions at the end of the night earn bragging rights and the traveling trivia night trophy.
