Good evening, CFMers!
The quiet, shortened days of Fall and Winter are upon us. These are prayerful, hunkering down days:-)
A few reminders for this week…
Please join us Monday, November 4, at 6:30 p.m. in the Church for a prayer service. We will be praying for God’s guidance in selecting our new leaders and ask that He continue to guide us as a country as we move forward. A Rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet will be prayed following the Prayer Service. Thank you to Deacon Pete and Jan LeTourneau for leading us in prayer.
Friday evening, November 8 @ 7:30 p.m. you will be meeting with your CFM small group to discuss Chapter #3-“Laborers in the Vineyard”. Please RSVP to your group leader couple to let them know you’re coming. Thanks!
One of the Actions in this week’s lesson is to assess and respond to a corporal need (feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, shelter the homeless, clothe the naked, visit the sick…) in our area. This upcoming weekend, Sunday, November 10th, we all have the opportunity to feed the hungry by donating to Our Lady of Unity Food Pantry. Please be generous as the need is great!
Thanksgiving is right around the corner and with it comes the much-loved OLW Thanksgiving 9:00 a.m. Mass and CFM Agape. This is a parish-wide event. Your small group leaders will be bringing a sign-up sheet with them Friday for the opportunity to provide a hot egg dish, fruit, pastries, cheese and crackers for this CFM sponsored gathering.
Thanks so much for all you contribute to CFM through your presence, prayers, love, and support for one another, and Our Lady of the Wayside!
With love and prayers,
Neal and Maureen Loughery
