Our Lady of the Wayside Opens for Private Prayer & Adoration
Father Artur Marat, the Our Lady of the Wayside Parish Pastoral Council and the Reopening Team are extremely pleased to announce that our Church, having recently received Archdiocese certification, is now open for Private Prayer and Adoration each Wednesday from 2:00-3:00 pm.
Initially, 40 slots have been allocated to two shifts, with 10 minutes between allowing for cleaning and disinfecting per Archdiocese and State of Illinois directives.
- 20 slots are available from 2:00-2:25 p.m.
- 20 slots are available from 2:35-3:00 p.m.
All attendees must wear face masks and bring hand sanitizer.

Private Prayer and Adoration is one of several events – including Sunday masses, reconciliation, baptisms, funerals and weddings – returning to our parish. We hope to expand Private Prayer and Adoration opportunities as demand increases, our volunteer reopening team gains experience and resources, and as the Archdiocese allows.
