OUR LADY OF THE WAYSIDE PARISH VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL JUNE 17-21, 2019

Join us for an adventure filled week as we adventure in the jungle where Life is Wild and God is Good!

Time: 9:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

OLW Father Mackin Center (Gym)

The Vacation Bible School is in the Middle School building, and depending on the weather, some classes will be held outside or in the Rectory basement. This is the most enjoyable week for children and they are learning about their love for Jesus through activities, prayer and songs.

We especially thank Katie Utech and Meghan Bauer for Directing the Program again this year, and spending so many hours in planning Vacation Bible School Week. We are deeply grateful to all the parents who have volunteered to teach and be involved in the program. The week ends on Friday, June 21 with a Prayer Service at 11:15 a.m. in Church with all the children participating in the songs they have learned during the week.

NEEDS FOR R.E.P. PROGRAM IN 2019-2020

The R.E.P. program is in need of Catechists for the following grades beginning in September, 2019:

1 Catechist for Grade 3, meets every Tuesday from 4:00-5:15 p.m.
1 Catechist for Grade 4, meets every Tuesday from 4:00-5:15 p.m.
1 Catechist for Grade 5, meets every other Tuesday from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
1 Catechist for Grade 8, meets every other Tuesday from 7:00-8:30 p.m.

Please consider this ministry and join other dedicated Catechists who impart their faith and knowledge to the children of our parish. Both Sister Joan and Sister Adrienne provide support and direction throughout the year. The texts are very ease to use and lend additional supplements for instruction.

Please call the R.E.P. office, 847-398-5011, and we can give you more information.
