Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW)

What is CLOW?

Children's Liturgy of the Word takes place during most Sunday 9:45 a.m. Masses during the entire year. Children leave Mass before the Liturgy of the Word and return after the petitions. Virtus-trained volunteers share the Gospel with children and facilitate age-appropriate discussions. Children may participate independently. Adults and younger sibling(s) are always welcome.

What ages participate in CLOW?

  • Children preschool age thru first grade meet in the large rectory room basement and often sing a few songs to share their faith.
  • During the school year, second grade students meet in the small room on the main floor behind the sacristy.
  • Third and fourth graders meet in the small rectory room basement.
