DEACON ONISCHUK DRAMATIZES
GOD'S OVERFLOWING LOVE FOR US

OLW Deacon Paul Onischuk made effective use of some "props" to emphasize points he made in his homily Sunday, November 4.

With the help of his altar servers, some adult OLW parishioners and several containers of water, Deacon Paul demonstrated the "overflowing" love God has for us.

His concluding remarks: "Love God, be filled with his love, and let that love overglow on all of his creation."

About 25 OLW women "retreated" from home last weekend to participate in the Our Lady of the Wayside
Welcome Retreat in the Parish Center.

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, the women participated in prayer, various group activities and spiritual
discussions and enjoyed meals provided by past C.R.H.P. participants.

OLW Pastor Father Ed Fialkowski opened the retreat with prayers and wishes for success.

The retreat provides an opporunity for women "who are seeking to enrich their faith journey with a weekend of spiritual renewal." The women's retreat has been an annual event for more than 25 years.
