OLW STEPS UP EFFORT

To Communicate with Parishioners

…and vice versa - parishioners can reach out to Priests, Parish, School and Committees

Numerous committees and organizations within Our Lady of the Wayside Parish and School have worked aggressively during the past year to increase communication with the various ministries and organizations, and among parishioners themselves.

As of early October, 2017, OLW has at least 80 organizations or entities listed through links in the OLW Weekly Bulletin. In addition, websites of various organizations list details and schedules that may not appear in the Bulletin or may not be easily accessible on-line.

There could be more. Organizations or committees which launch new communications systems are not required to notify the parish itself and sometimes a new system appears. The parish would like to know which groups have jumped on the Internet bandwagon and how they can be contacted.

The growth of electronic communications and OLW's embrace of modern technology make it easier for parish organizations and individuals to remain in contact with each other.

But a parish with a wide range, as OLW has, needs to keep parishioners informed of the new communications systems - and also need to make sure parishioners know how to use them.

Appearing in this weeks' Bulletin are websites or images of four of the most active OLW websites and links:
