Twenty-fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time

APPRECIATION AND THANKS

Wayside Parish Picnic certainly was 'The day that the Lord has made and we rejoice in Him' for giving us the perfect weather and bringing us together in Worship and Friendship.

It is with great pleasure and appreciation that I thank all those who made the Parish Picnic-2017 a huge success. I was more than happy to see the Community of Wayside praying together, playing together, eating together and spending time together. Eucharistic Fellowship followed by Community Celebration has surely fostered a spirit of faith community and togetherness.

Our appreciation and thanks to all our generous donors, dedicated volunteers and committed picnic committee members for your hard work, time, talent and treasure. A special word of appreciation and gratitude to Katie and Mike Aulenta, co-chairs of the picnic, for their excellent leadership, creativity and selfless service. Thanks to all parishioners for your presence and participation, and all of you who have supported it in one way or the other. You made it a great day and I am proud of you.

"Alone I can
say but together I can talk.
Alone I can enjoy but together I can celebrate.
Alone I can smile but together I can laugh.
That's the beauty of being a Community.
We are nothing without each other."

Father Ed Fialkowski
Pastor, Our Lady of the Wayside

WHAT IS CHRISTIAN FAMILY MOVEMENT?

Christian Family Movement is a network of parish family groups who meet to discuss issues of relevance to today's Christian families. Groups discuss a different issue each month intended to help gain a better understanding of our faith and how it affects our lives and our families. Members can participate to their level of comfort, whether they actively join the discussion or simply listen to others' perspectives on topics.
