Pope Francis has said:

"Let the risen Jesus enter your life, welcome him as a friend, with trust: he is life!"

As we are now settled into Ordinary Time and appreciating the Summer Solstice, perhaps you know someone who may be interested in joining or returning to the Catholic Church? Our Lady of the Wayside provides this opportunity through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.) which is a program beginning in September to pursue Catholicism or return home to the Catholic Faith.

The R.C.I.A. Team is always available to answer your questions. You may contact the parish office at (847) 253-5353 any time for further information. Please continue to watch for further announcements.

OLW's patio is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy after-Mass coffee and donuts, especially on warm Sundays as we have had lately. However, climbing the trees is NOT recommended.

Father Dan Hall of St. Viator High School is one of many visiting priests who say Masses at OLW on Sunday's.

OLW's Father Mackin Center gym has been kept busy this summer, even without daily classes. This past week, several dozen youngsters participated in a basketball camp.
