Summer time may mean free time for the students and teachers at Our Lady of the Wayside School but it also means it's time for maintenance, improvements and some asbestos removal when necessary.

The first few weeks of July provide the opportumity for some remodeling - and some asbestos removal - as the former school library at OLW is converted into a new cafeteria. Construction managers met with OLW staff last week to discuss details.

Library space at OLW has become in less demand as school students are using electronic books for reading and research projects.
