NEW "LOOPING" SOUND SYSTEM
TURNED ON IN CHURCH

One of the added benefits of the OLW renovation was "turned on" for parishioners with hearing problems when the new "Hearing Loop" system was activated.

The system includes a thin cable that runs under practically all the pews from front to back and from side to side. The system is connected to the church audio and public address system.

As noted in last Sunday's Bulletin, a Looping Training session is scheduled for Monday, May 7 at 7 p.m. in the church. It is open to all parishioners.

CONNECTING WITH OLW - IN AN INTERNET AGE

Our Lady of the Wayside Parish in Arlington Heights is one of the largest - and most active - Roman Catholic parishes in the the Northwest suburbs of Chicago.

And like most parishes and other institutions, OLW has become fully immersed in the rapidly growing electronic communications world.

While it is not surprising that younger members of the OLW community are more in tune with electronic communications, parishioners of all ages are becoming more in-tune - and dependent upon - the internet.

What follows is OLW's first directory of internet addresses and points of contact for the parish, various parish organizations and ministries and some selected parish individuals.

An important note: These addresses are available LIVE on the OLW Parish Website at:
