ISLAM FOR CATHOLICS
What do Muslims really believe?
As Catholics why should we care?

Prejudice and even hate crimes against Muslims are on the rise in the U.S. As Catholics, we can make a difference by countering the misinformation about Islam with the truth and by partnering with Muslims for a peaceful world. In fact, our church teachings call us to do so.

Join Father Corey Brost, former president of St. Viator High School and co-founder of the Children of Abraham Coalition, a suburban network of Muslim, Christian and Jewish teen and adult leaders for two nights to learn the basics of Islam, to dialogue with local Muslims and to discuss how you can stand up against fear and prejudice.

Thursdays, April 27 and May 4

combine the two? Join us once a month for an evening of yoga, prayer, guided meditation, and peaceful music. We will use yoga postures, movement, and breathing to relax our bodies and minds in preparation for prayer and Scripture-based meditations. The next session is on
May 3rd from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Gathering Place. All
ability levels are welcome, as the postures and movements can be adapted to what each individual is able to do.
Please bring either a yoga mat or a beach towel.
