CONNECTING
Our Mind, Body, And Spirit

Looking for a way to relax and reduce your stress level a bit? Looking for some quiet prayer time? Why not combine the two? Join us once a month for an evening of yoga, prayer, guided meditation and peaceful music. We will use yoga postures, movement and breathing to relax our bodies and minds in preparation for prayer and Scripture-based meditations. The next session is on April 5 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Gathering Place. All ability levels are welcome, as the postures and movements can be adapted to what each individual is able to do. Please bring either a yoga mat or a beach towel.

If you have any questions, contact Mandy Dillon in the parish office: 847-253-5353 or pastoralassociate @olwparish.org. Don't want  to miss seeing the announcement in the bulletin? Send Mandy an email to sign up to receive an email reminder about these sessions.

OLW's Youth Ministry will be serving at the Friday, April 7, Lenten Fish Fry at the Arlington Heights KC Hall,
15 North Hickory Avenue, in Arlington Heights. OLW Knights Rob Adams and Scott Baxendale were joined by
Fathers Ed Fialkowski and Louis Golamari to help promote the event following one of the March 26 Masses.

ARE YOU RECEIVING "WAYSIDE WEDNESDAY"?

Have you been receiving Our Lady of the Wayside's new e-mail newsletter?

"Wayside Wednesday" is the title (for now) of the weekly message sent to more than 1,700 OLW parishioners who provided their e-mail addresses to the Parish during  a "sign-up" campaign last fall.

"WW" is not a replacement for the OLW Bulletin, which is still available at Weekend Masses and on line (www.olwparish.org). In fact, every OLW Bulletin for the past year is available at this link: www.olwparish.org/bulletin.htm. Copies of the most recent Bulletin are available at the rear of the church.

The new publication is intended to help parishioners keep track of parish events and to remind them in mid-week of activities scheduled within the next few days. It also will serve as a reminder of "sign-up" or registration dates and times.

More information about the OLW Communications Ministry, including names of members, is available here: www.olwparish.org/commin.htm
