RELIGIOUS EDUCATION NEWS

Monday, January 29

The 8:30 a.m. Parish Mass will be celebrated in the Gym. This is an all school Mass to celebrate Catholic Schools Week. Teachers will have special participation in the Mass.

There is a Confirmation Light Service practice at 4:00 p.m. in the Gym for any 8th grade students participating in the service.

Tuesday, January 30
The following R.E.P. grades have class:

Grades 1-4

Third Graders have practice at 4:10 p.m. in the Gathering Place for their Mass.

Grades 5-6
Theses students are to return their report cards with a parent signature. Fifth grade students will receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the Gym at 7:10 p.m.


Wednesday, January 31

The school fifth graders will receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the Preschool classrooms in the Parish Center at 1:10 p.m.

CHILDREN'S LITURGY OF THE WORD

Sunday Readings and Homily adapted for ages 3 to 10 on most Sundays at the 9:45 Mass before the Liturgy of the Word.  The children are invited to participate. The children will return for the remainder of the Mass. No registration is required!

BIBLE STUDY

Focus on the readings for the coming Sunday and their context in scripture. No registration or fee. Come when your schedule permits. Friday mornings in the Gathering Place 9:30 - 11:15 a.m.

This Ministry offers families in their time of sorrow a continental breakfast in the Gathering Place or sit down luncheon in the Rectory Meeting Room. For further information contact the parish office.

MINISTRY OF CARE

OLW has trained Ministers of Care who are available to visit and bring communion to those parishioners who are homebound. If you are interested in receiving communion or being part of this ministry contact Kathy O'Neill, 847-253-5353, ext. 238.
