Please Make Your Gift  to the
2018 Annual Catholic Appeal

"COME, FOLLOW ME"

Many families in our parish will be receiving the Annual Catholic Appeal request mailing from Cardinal Cupich. On behalf of those served by the ministries and services funded by the ACA we thank you for your gifts. Please return your response as soon as possible.

The ACA offers a wonderful opportunity to answer Jesus' call to
"Come, Follow Me."

In addition to providing for ministries and services throughout the Archdiocese, the Appeal also funds services that are of great help to ministries here in our Parish.

As we contemplate God's many gifts to us, we should also reflect on our gratitude for these gifts. Your financial support for the work of our Parish, our Archdiocese, and the Church throughout the world is, in fact, one way to express this gratitude. Please give generously to the 2018 Annual Catholic Appeal.

When our parish reaches its goal of $107,490 in paid pledges, 100% of the additional funds received will be returned to us for use in our Parish.

February 3-4 is the Annual Catholic Appeal Commitment Weekend in pew process.

SPRED
SPecial REligious development

Our Lady of the Wayside
Arlington Heights, IL

OLW is forming a small faith community for people aged 22 + who have a developmental disability. If you or someone you know are caring for a person with developmental disabilities, OLW invites him/her into this wonderful program.

The program, SPRED, is an Archdiocesan Agency created to bring forth an awareness in our special friends as persons of dignity who are loved by God. A welcoming space, the bonds of friendship, the proclamation of the WORD and inclusion in the sacramental life of the parish are essential for growth in faith. Our program will facilitate a one-on-one activity, a group spiritual reflection and an agape to foster friendship and religious development.  We will meet once a month on a Saturday morning at the Parish Center.

We are currently forming our SPRED group to begin in the Spring of 2018 and are ready to welcome new participants.

Please contact any one of the OLW SPRED ministry team members listed below for more information. If you'd like to schedule an informal meeting, please contact Maureen or Tom.
