Reminder: Get Your Flu Shot at OLW

Our Lady of the Wayside will be giving Flu Shots

When: Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27

Time: Before and after the 5 pm, 9:30 am, 11:30 am and 6 pm masses

Where: Gathering Place (Masks & social distancing required)

How old do you need to be to get a flu shot? 10 years and older

Hosted: Walgreen’s Pharmacy

(Pneumonia shots will also be available)

Cost: Medicare B and most private insurances cover the cost of the shot. If you do not have insurance, the cost of the shot is $35.00.

To minimize waiting time to receive the flu shot, we strongly encourage you to print and complete this Vaccine Consent Form prior to coming. Don’t forget to bring it with you!

Please bring with you: Both your prescription card and insurance card in case the prescription plan does not cover the flu shot, they will bill your medical plan. Also, if you are on Medicare, please bring your card.  Walgreen’s will process all claims to the insurance (after the shot is given) at their store and contact the patient directly if there is a copay.

If you are covered by a HMO insurance plan, please check with them to see if they will cover the flu shot before coming to get your flu shot.

If you are paying out of pocket, they will take only cash or check.
